Pat-Janis
Pat Janis started Camelot Concrete to promote the unique qualities of concrete as a green building material for countertops, in particular kitchens and baths, floors, fireplaces or other architectural details. Far from the flat, grey material that underlies our world, concrete can be colored with stains, textured with glass, stone and other additives and finished in almost any design you can imagine.

While originally the realm of artists, Camelot Concrete has helped develop the products and techniques needed to produce concrete countertops, sinks and architectural pieces, thus making them readily available to architects, interior designers, contractors and building owners. This has opened up a whole new medium to explore.
In addition to the aesthetic qualities of concrete countertops, they offer a true sustainable building solution. Made from renewable materials, concrete countertops provide a complete life cycle as they can themselves be recycled when their usefulness ends.
